The climate of the island creates a perfect habitat for dinosaurs. Little Garden's climate is one of dense jungle. This has led it to be behind the average island in the Grand Line by millions of years. The climate is unbearable for many humans that plan to stay long, as well as providing ideal conditions for fatal illnesses to survive, some thought previous extinct.

Drum Island is a Winter Island, covered by snow and noted for it's large drum shaped mountains, known as the Drum Rockies. The Sakura Kingdom is currently located here.

Sandy Island is a large Summer Island, roughly half-way through the first part of the Grand Line. Alabasta Kingdom resides here with many towns and cities, as well as a vast desert landscape.

This spring island is mostly uninhabited, with the exception of a few towns, with the rest covered by forests. This island seems to be a major base for pirates. One of the more famous locations is Mock Town, which is normally inhabited mostly by criminals, despite looking like a resort.

Water 7 is a city known for its shipwrights. The docks works as one, each taking orders and building ships as part of the same group, however Dock One is known for having the best shipwrights and building the best ships.

Enies Lobby is a government-controlled stronghold in the Grand Line together with the Marine Headquarters and Impel Down. Enies Lobby leads to Impel Down and the Marine HQ directly. Because of this, there are many Government Agents stationed here, roughly 10,000 men, a mix of those from both the World Government and the Marines.

Sabaody Archipelago is an area close to the Red Line. Though it is called an archipelago, it is actually a massive mangrove forest growing out from the middle of the ocean with each tree of the forest serving as an "island" for which people live on. Since it is just a forest and not an island like those found in the Grand Line, it has no magnetic pull for which to affect a Log Pose.

Marineford is the Marine Headquarters. It is where Fleet Admiral and the three admirals resided, along with many vice admirals and lower officers when they weren't assigned to another base. The city surrounding Marine HQ was inhabited by the families of Marine soldiers. It is situated near the Sabaody Archipelago, and laid directly next to Mariejois on the Red Line. The only safe way to reach Marineford is through the Gates of Justice.
