The ship could almost be considered a floating armory, housing over 100 guns that encircle the ship and are spread out over the upper three decks. Near the stern of the Carpe Noctem on the upper deck, one can find the Captain's Quarters. Inside the room is rather spacious and features a desk covered in maps and surrounded by shelves of books, the crew's personal library, as well as a bed off to the corner where the Captain often sleep. Outside, the upper deck remains spacious and it's large open environment allows for various recreations, including a small garden, which is capable of producing fruit bearing trees and plants. Below, the Crew's Quarters, which are divided into male and female sections, the bathrooms, and a spacious kitchen or galley and dining room can be found. A quick trip down the stairs to the third deck will lead to where one can find the Infirmary and Sick bay areas, Training Room, and Workshop, which are maintained and well-furnished. There are various smaller rooms around the ship used for storage, primarily for storing extra artillery and gunpowder for the canons, where it easier to access. However, the largest compartment for supplies, materials and even the treasury are kept in the lowest levels of the ship. On the opposing end of the ship's keep though is the brig, which serves to hold those fool enough to cross the Carpe Noctem's crew or Captain. The hull of the ship is painted black with white trim along the sides and gold colored trimmings along the very front and rear of the vessel. It normally flies dark colored, often dusky gray sails, giving the ship something of an ominous appearance when spotted on the horizon. It's the ship's figure head that is the most impressive, however. The large skeletal figure seems to appear normal, if allbeit somewhat morbid in appearance, but it possesses a unique abilities. When a lever is triggered, the skeleton's jaw with drop open to reveal a eight-barreled cannon, which can be unloaded similar to a Gatling gun and can be used to launch an attack on any enemy in front of the ship. ALIGNMENT: Chaotic Neutral GOAL: The crew's primary goal seems to be sail to the end of the Grand Line and assist their Captain in her attempt to find the treasure of One Piece and become the Pirate King. This is not the only goal, however, and it's not entirely uncommon for other members of the crew to have their own personal dreams or goals. In fact, the Captain seems to encourage it, more than willing to assist those that attempt to assist her. REQUIREMENTS: Being pirates, there aren't many requirements for joining the Eclipse crew aside from some skill or talent that could be useful to the crew and the obvious approval of the Captain. However, while they are few and far between, there are a couple of rules that all members are expected to abide by or else. RULE #1: RESPECT THE CAPTAIN Despite the Captain's seeming lax nature a majority of the time, when it comes to important matters, the Captain has the final say and that word is law. Because of this, she expects her crew to bare some respect for her decision as she dislikes being questioned and has no problem of putting her foot down to remind her crew of who is in charge. While she may appear easy-going, Rei is not lax when it comes to her duties as Captain and keeps a firm reign to ensure order on her ship. Challenging the Captain's authority or making an attempt on her life is considered mutiny and can result in severe punishment, and is done so one's own risk. RULE #2: CODE OF LOYALTY Even if some of them may manage to get on each others nerves at times, the crew functions much like a brotherhood or family and tend to be rather close-knit when it comes to protecting their own. That being said, this may be the reason that betrayal is considered to be the ultimate sin among the crew. Traitors are not tolerated and will be hunted down and dealt with. If it's proven that someone has conspired to betray the crew, they can face death or worse, should the Captain get to them first. This is one point that all the crew is aware of and one the Captain tends to impress on people before joining. RULE #3: A NEUTRAL STANDING It should be noted that the crew are not heroes and rarely stick their neck out for others. However, this doesn't mean that their prone to random murder or pillaging, instead they seemed to be prone to repaying the actions shown them. This is true whether a person is a Marine, Civilian, or another pirate. They normally won't attack unless provoked, but if stirred up can prove ruthlessly efficient, making them the sort that few wish to cross. While excessive violence or unprovoked bloodshed tends to be looked down on, unless ordered by the Captain, things like theft are permitted as long as it doesn't draw unwanted trouble. In terms of their moral code, it can best described as incredibly loose in most circumstance. RULE #4: CRIME AND PUNISHMENT The Captain tends to be responsible for delving out punishments, which can range from simply being chewed out to more severe ones that cause her to resort to violence (something worth being afraid of). More serious crimes such as attempted mutiny, rape, betrayal, fighting among the crew, or murdering another crew member can get a person thrown in the brig or depending on the severity of the situation and possible harm of others involved, executed on the spot. The Captain is not noted for her patience towards distension - you have been warned.
